About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures
- Produce quality images for physicians and healthcare providers to support diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease
- Execute safe and precise procedures and deliver accurate results in a timely manner
- Assess and monitor patients
- Gain patient, family/support group, and healthcare-provider confidence and cooperation through effective communication
- Adhere to privacy and safety requirements while delivering optimal patient care
- Perform specific procedures as assigned
- Help orient other staff to the department
- Rotate through multiple locations/sites in Sonoma County
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation from a JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technologist Program provided prior to start date
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist from the state where work is being performed, provided prior to start date
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire if required at the affiliate
- SGMF-CVENI-Certified Venipuncture
- Ability to perform routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures
- Ability to rotate through multiple locations/sites in Sonoma County
- Availability for evening shifts, variable days, every weekend, and 40 hours per week
