About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receive intermediate-level incoming inquiries and service requests from patients, employees, providers, vendors, and others via phone, email, web portal, and other channels
- Respond with accurate and timely information while maintaining high customer service and quality standards
- Work as part of a team supporting one or more service delivery teams
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with customers to identify additional ways to assist and ensure satisfaction
- Support continuous improvement in business processes and services
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to protect employee and patient privacy and safety
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- 2 years recent relevant experience
- Knowledge of processes within one or more of: Human Resources, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, Revenue Cycle Customer Billing
- Written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including prioritization and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while accomplishing multiple tasks in an interrupted environment
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems using established solutions
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and other healthcare providers
- Ability to operate office equipment such as multi-line phones, printers, fax machines, copiers, and scanners
- Training is onsite at 2200 River Plaza Drive, Sacramento, CA
