About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in the overall function and support of document imaging services
  • Perform technical analysis, design, support, implementation, and project management for technology-related activities with moderate supervision
  • Provide customer support for technology using the information systems (IS) platform to track and perform trend analysis of issues
  • Support applications, network, systems, and storage; escalate issues as needed
  • Inspect and perform quality assurance reviews on documents in work queues
  • Provide guidance to end users on appropriate document types, scanning methods, and equipment maintenance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or General Education (GED)
  • 2 years recent relevant experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, patients and families both verbally and in writing
  • Advanced computer skills with PACS, RIS and/or other imaging-related software
  • Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
  • Ability to work under supervision or with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing and challenging environment and take appropriate actions in emergent situations
  • Must be able to work Monday–Friday day shifts, with weekends as needed
