About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide high-level, specialized administrative support to executive leader(s) of Undergraduate Medical Education
- Work independently on complex assignments of a critical and confidential nature
- Exercise sound judgment and apply advanced knowledge of Sutter Health administrative infrastructure, policies, and procedures
- Handle complex inquiries, issues, and confidential materials
- Develop methods or systems to resolve recurring or unusual circumstances
- Support departmental and corporate objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- 4 years recent relevant experience
- Written communications skills, including composing effective communications for internal and external audiences
- Verbal communications skills, including speaking and listening effectively to various audiences
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills
- Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with internet search software and related information systems
- Ability to interpret data and instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines within standardized policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an interruption-prone environment
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems using established options
- Ability to ensure the privacy of patients' protected health information (PHI)
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and staff members
