Key responsibilities & impact

Provide nursing care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or physician
Implement patients’ plans of care based on diagnosis
Integrate education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to gain patient and family cooperation
Exercise sound judgment and developed clinical skills to deliver timely patient care
Distribute supplies and perform equipment maintenance, testing, and setup as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduate of an accredited school of Vocational Nursing (may be evidenced by LVN/LPN license) provided prior to start date
LVN-Licensed Vocational Nurse for California-based jobs provided prior to start date
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
Demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills, various medical procedures, views, and equipment
Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences
Well-developed time management and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods
General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to accomplish multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions
Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems
Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and other healthcare providers
Travel as needed between Modesto and Lodi locations
