About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, staff, and resources throughout Information Services and Sutter Health regional affiliates
Implement and support Information Services projects
Manage new applications, modules, software installations, interfaces, integrations, hardware upgrades, and major application upgrades
Provide day-to-day application support
Oversee projects or portions of projects
Participate in departmental budget development
Manage and monitor the approved budget

Requirements

What you’ll need

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
8 years recent relevant experience
Expert knowledge of specifying user requirements
Advanced knowledge of industry standards to support business requirements
Advanced knowledge of healthcare operations and structure
Advanced knowledge of the lifecycle of application environments
In-depth understanding of hospital inpatient and clinic outpatient operations
Ability to prioritize job responsibilities and assignments
Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures and formulate logical, objective conclusions
Ability to establish cooperative working relationships across all areas and levels within Sutter Health and external organizations
Verbal and written communication skills for diverse groups, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts
