Key responsibilities & impact- Provides clinical and clerical support to providers and patient care teams

Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program (must present diploma within 90 days) OR completion of a Medical Assistant externship (160 hours)
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
- 1 year of recent relevant experience
- General knowledge of medical procedures, views, and equipment
- Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Competence and validation in basic Medical Assisting skills, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering injections
- Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based data and instructions
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and electronic health records (EHR)
- Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems using established options
- Ability to collaborate with peers and healthcare providers
