About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a radiologist or supervisor
- Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
- Exercise independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative during technical procedures
- Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures
- Perform specified radiographic procedures independently
- Provide student instruction when assigned
- Perform lead duties when assigned
- Work one variable 8-hour shift per week, including at least one weekend shift every other week; shifts may be day, evening, or night
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience
- Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school
- CRT—Certified Radiologic Technologist
- RHF—Radiology Fluoroscopy
- ARRT—Radiography—American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- BLS—Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- Competent in components of radiographic practice as determined adequate by the Assistant Director
