Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider certification
2 years of recent relevant experience
Knowledge of nursing theories, concepts, and practices
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Working knowledge of healthcare industry standards, safety precautions, patient care and privacy practices, and applicable regulations
Written and verbal communication skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook)
Basic knowledge of Electronic Health Record systems
Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions
Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems using established options
Ability to protect patient protected health information (PHI)
Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers
