Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and enhance modern AI applications with real business impact
Contribute to the newly established AI Center of Excellence
Support the development of modern AI solutions for various business areas
Help shape smarter and more efficient processes
Collaborate with experienced colleagues from the AI team and IT department
Work closely with AI Engineers to develop new solutions
Gradually assume responsibility for ongoing projects
Contribute your own technical ideas
Independently implement smaller AI and automation projects
Work with multi-agent systems, enterprise RAG solutions, Voice AI, Microsoft Copilot, and Large Language Models
Engage directly with business departments and implement innovative ideas

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently pursuing a degree in Artificial Intelligence or, alternatively, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a comparable program with a focus on Artificial Intelligence
Enthusiasm for modern AI technologies
Ideally, initial experience with Python, APIs, databases, or AI tools
Willingness to try out new technologies, solve technical challenges, and implement ideas independently
Desire to gain practical experience in an innovative corporate environment
Ability to work regularly from the Cologne office
Structured approach to work
Excellent German communication skills (at least C1 level)
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
