About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ship new product changes every day, sometimes multiple times per day
Work closely with engineers and team lead Mika, prioritizing synchronous collaboration to solve product problems
Own the longer-term design vision of the team’s product area
Own business context and success metrics for the product area with the product counterpart
Help develop Swarmia’s effort model and products for engineering organizations to understand effort and budgets across projects and work categories
Participate in customer research from day one
Collaborate cross-functionally to solve customer problems

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years designing and building software, with emphasis on building
Cross-functional product expertise and some technical expertise, demonstrated through experience
Ability to choose appropriately between customer interviews, product analytics, and intuition for product decisions
Strong knowledge of users
Experience running customer interviews at scale
Ability to use Figma and build directly with Claude when appropriate
Ability to determine when to use AI and when not to use it
Ability to read code; ability to make changes without relying on AI is a plus
