About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Persuade delinquent customers to establish repayment terms using a computer system and collection software
Meet production goals and servicing standards without sacrificing service quality
Follow client operating standards and state and federal collection laws and regulations
Accurately document account efforts and results
Handle PCI data confidentially and securely
Work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts and availability between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Complete three weeks of paid training, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Work one late night per week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and one Saturday per month from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; schedules assigned based on client and company needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must live in Texas outside of the DFW area for the WFH remote position
3+ years’ experience in debt collections
High school diploma/GED required
Must be 18 years of age or older
Authorized to work in the United States
Clean background check and negative drug test result required
Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask in a production-driven environment
Basic computer knowledge and typing skills required
Comfortable navigating multiple computer screens and systems
Wired high-speed internet connection, minimum 15 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload
Network latency maximum 250 ms
Personal PC or laptop running Windows 10 or newer; no Chromebooks, Macs, tablets, or cell phones
Computer from 2019 or newer with 8 GB memory and one USB Type-A 2.0 port
Logitech H390 headset
Internal or external webcam
Home office with Ethernet connection, quiet workspace, and private webcam area
Must remain visible on webcam at all times through CollabAI
