About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and evolve the technical architecture of Swedbank's Pega platform
Ensure platform scalability, security, and long-term maintainability
Anticipate technical risks and challenges proactively
Set technical standards and best practices for platform construction, configuration, and extension
Work with developers and agile teams to guide design decisions
Ensure solutions align with overall architecture
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Evaluate new capabilities, integrations, and technologies for architectural fit
Perform hands-on configuration and development of the platform

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent competence acquired in another way
Solid experience as an architect within Pega and/or platform development
Track record of designing large-scale, scalable solutions
Strong understanding of platform architecture, including configuration, extensibility, and long-term maintainability
Experience with system integration and APIs
Experience designing for interoperability in a complex, distributed environment
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Background check and drug test may be part of the recruitment process
