About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, test, analyze, and maintain the Pega platform supporting several of the bank's core processes
Work with other developers in agile teams to enable new features and improvements with high quality
Build and evolve robust, scalable solutions based on Pega best practices and the bank's architectural principles
Work proactively by anticipating users' needs and delivering solutions
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Swedbank's platform, offering, and organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent competence acquired in another way
Solid experience in Pega and/or platform development
Track record of building, configuring, and maintaining large-scale platform solutions
Understanding of platform architecture, including configuration, extensibility, and long-term maintainability
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management in a platform context
Experience with other parts of IT is meriting
Generalist profile rather than exclusively a Pega expert
Java knowledge to some extent
Experience working with vendor-delivered platforms and adapting them to organizational needs
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed systems
Background check and drug test may be part of the recruitment process
