About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Carry out planned commissioning visits across multiple sites in Ireland and occasionally the UK/Europe
  • Conduct site surveys and resource forecasting for planned commissioning visits
  • Install and perform final terminations of field devices
  • Perform cause-and-effect programming of PC-based control systems
  • Log and report all site activities
  • Work independently and use own initiative to solve on-site problems
  • Commission electro-mechanical and embedded computer-based control systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Electrical or IT qualification (trade, diploma, or degree)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Safe Pass certification desirable
  • Experience of site work in an electrical commissioning capacity an advantage
  • General computer and Windows knowledge
  • General PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel
  • General BAS/BMS/Fire Alarm knowledge
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Ireland and occasionally the UK/Europe
  • Self-motivated and customer focused
  • Technical and analytical mindset
