About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and test new application features and functionalities
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java back-end code using Springboot
Develop and maintain APIs and integrate with third-party services
Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and engineers to define requirements and technical specifications
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Ensure adherence to coding standards and quality and security best practices
Debug and resolve technical issues
Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance
Participate in planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance across the software development lifecycle
Use AI assistants during design, development, and testing
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
Evaluate technical feasibility and estimate proposed system solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
3 to 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer or similar role
Proven hands-on experience in Java including Springboot framework
Hands-on experience in APIs and systems integrations through REST APIs
Experience building HTTP, TCP/IP-based applications
Working knowledge of XML and JSON parsing methods
Experience with debuggers, memory leaks, and system performance tuning
Working experience with databases, storage technologies, and RHEL systems
Experience effectively using AI tools during design, coding, and testing
Conversant with Agile tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, Artifactory, and Confluence
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and DevOps practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
