About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate office relocations, workspace transitions, seating changes, and consolidations
  • Develop move plans, schedules, checklists, relocation scenarios, and risk-mitigation strategies
  • Gather and validate personnel, seating, furniture, equipment, and space requirements
  • Coordinate activities with Government personnel, facilities teams, GSA, vendors, movers, and other stakeholders
  • Support site visits, pre-move assessments, furniture coordination, and post-move closeout
  • Track schedules, budgets, risks, action items, dependencies, and completion status
  • Maintain relocation documentation and prepare status reports and briefings
  • Update project information in ServiceNow or other designated facilities-management systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Five or more years of relevant relocation, move-management, facilities, workplace-planning, or project-coordination experience
  • Active project management certification required
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent moves or workplace projects
  • Strong scheduling, organization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to reside within the National Capital Region and report to Springfield and Alexandria, Virginia, as required
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to satisfy DHS background and facility-access requirements
