About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor the cyber threat landscape and analyze emerging developments
  • Derive concrete measures to strengthen security
  • Work with XDR, Threat Intelligence, and SIEM, and continuously enhance their use
  • Monitor and manage outsourced Cyber Detection & Response services (SOC and SIEM)
  • Advise internal IT Operations, Software Development, Architecture, and Agile Value Stream teams on security matters
  • Support projects and initiatives from idea through implementation
  • Ensure that security aspects are considered at an early stage
  • Share knowledge and experience within the team
  • Depending on experience, take functional responsibility for specific topics and drive them forward
  • Support Development and Platform teams in establishing security as an integral part of software development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a comparable qualification, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in Cyber Security
  • Knowledge in one or more areas such as EDR, SIEM, Threat Hunting & Response, Cloud Security, Azure, Kubernetes, or AI
  • Ability to analyze and assess security risks and derive appropriate measures
  • Clear, audience-appropriate communication skills in German and English (at least B2/C1 level)
  • Willingness to collaborate with different teams, including Development and Platform teams
  • Strong can-do attitude and willingness to take responsibility
  • Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style
  • Willingness to participate in an appropriate on-call rotation, if required
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are welcome but not required
