About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Optimize existing end-of-period processing
- Support projects for major banking clients from the strategy phase through go-live and operational handover
- Design and develop automated Avaloq batch processing using Automic
- Develop strategies and concepts for standardized process workflows, monitoring, and reporting
- Analyze batch processes and optimize their performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in Avaloq batch engineering, including automation
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Oracle
- Linux/Unix log analysis, process control, and troubleshooting
- Experience in engineering, testing, deployment, and operations of business-critical production systems
- Fluent German; English is an advantage
- Proficiency in incident, problem, and change management; ITIL certification or knowledge is an advantage
- Structured, analytical approach and a high level of responsibility for end-of-period (EOP) and end-of-year (EOY) processing
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and confident in working with customers and partners
