About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate and automate a highly secure private cloud within the Swiss Armed Forces’ Digital Platform
- Take responsibility for platform operations, monitoring, incident and change management, and continuous development
- Help design a highly available and resilient infrastructure based on DevSecOps principles
- Use state-of-the-art technologies in a security-critical and innovative environment
- Collaborate in agile teams and make a direct contribution to the digital transformation of the Swiss Armed Forces
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree (university/ETH/university of applied sciences) in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Several years of experience developing, deploying, and administering cloud-native applications (Kubernetes, AWS, OpenShift)
- Proficiency with VMware (vSphere), Git, RPM, and Postfix
- Knowledge of scripting and automation, e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Python, and NETCONF/YANG
- Expertise in modern DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and agile working methods and frameworks (SAFe, Scrum)
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and handle incidents and changes
- Excellent spoken and written German
- Clean record required for the SEPOS personnel security screening
