About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop internal Swisscom applications for mobility, room reservations, data storage, and collaboration spaces
  • Work on all parts of applications and ensure maintenance, 3rd Level Support, and further development
  • Operate internal Swisscom applications as part of a small agile DevOps team
  • Keep internal solutions up to date and facilitate digital transformation
  • Design and develop software for frontend and backend
  • Ensure the quality and security of systems
  • Utilize modern software architectures and cloud technologies
  • Handle operation, 3rd level support, lifecycle management, further development, and monitoring
  • Engage in full stack development and operation, from small applications to entire frameworks
  • Perform analysis, design, implementation, testing, and operation
  • Develop cloud-native solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed IT apprenticeship specializing in application development or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience with back-end technologies (.NET, .NET Core) and front-end technologies (Angular or React)
  • Experience in DevOps workflows and software architecture
  • Expertise in relational, non-relational, and in-memory databases
  • Experience with API development, particularly REST
  • Independent and motivated to tackle new challenges, open to feedback, and eager to share knowledge
  • Good command of English and French; German is a plus
  • Knowledge of agile working methods is nice to have
  • Experience with SharePoint, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Kafka, JavaScript, and ASP.NET are nice to have
