About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the operation, further development, and optimization of a business domain, including its associated interfaces and surrounding systems
- Ensure stable and secure system operations
- Monitor and optimize application performance across the application landscape
- Analyze and resolve incidents
- Implement changes, releases, and technical improvements
- Capture and specify technical and business requirements through to successful implementation in the production environment
- Collaborate with customers, internal business units, suppliers, and development partners
- Provide support on architecture and integration topics
- Continuously improve the system landscape
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed education or training in computer science, business information systems, or a comparable qualification
- Experience as a Systems Engineer, Application Engineer, Application Manager, or in a comparable technical role
- Knowledge of operating and supporting business or banking applications
- Experience with banking platforms such as Finnova or comparable core banking solutions is an advantage
- Understanding of interfaces, system integration, and complex application landscapes
- Analytical mindset, with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborating in interdisciplinary teams
- Fluent German, both written and spoken
