Key responsibilities & impact

Perform response service fault diagnosis, repair, and renewal works
Carry out planned preventative maintenance works
Complete planned on-site new installation product commissioning works
Provide out-of-hours on-call support through a structured rota
Work across metering, hydraulic, and electrical control systems installed primarily within residential properties
Deliver tasks and operations in line with timeline targets and requirements
Self-manage daily activities using a structured handheld system
Operate within agreed operational and supervisory guidelines
Maintain effective internal and external client or user relationships
Deliver Health and Safety policy and standards

What you’ll need

Engineering qualification to a minimum NVQ level within a related field
Current technical background, preferably building services engineering related
Good communication skills and ability to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry
Experience of building services engineering within district and community heating (desirable)
Experience of working within the construction industry (desirable)
Understanding of communal/district heating (desirable)
Experience of working as part of a team in a real working environment (desirable)
Ability to provide high levels of customer satisfaction
Ideally qualified to NVQ level standard in a related discipline
Minimum 3 years’ experience of dealing with technical building services systems and related products
Good technical understanding and previous experience in a similar services industry
Customer-facing experience and clear understanding of the need to provide high levels of customer satisfaction
