About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Nurture healthy and productive relationships with prospective and existing artist and label clients and act as primary contact
- Work in Zendesk to track client contact and measure specific SLAs
- Organize client communication and act as an internal go-between among internal staff
- Collaborate with Symphonic’s global team to plan and implement form-fitting release marketing strategies
- Manage daily release-management logistics, including metadata standards, production, ingestion, and take-downs
- Plan, manage, and analyze the financial success of client relationships, including budget creation, tracking, and sales/streaming revenue analysis
- Anticipate problems and implement communication and tactical strategies to solve them
- Assist in Corporate and Client Marketing meetings to help develop the business and pitch new clients
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Music or a business-related field, or 2 years of relevant experience working in a key client relationship role at a record label, distributor, artist management company, publisher, agency, or DSP
- Proven success in developing emerging artists or labels
- Proven deep relationships or roots in the music industry community
- Ability to manage a high-volume client workload
- Experience or ability to guide clients through basic release strategy
- Experience with client relationship management and responsive day-to-day support
