About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Nurture healthy and productive relationships with prospective and existing artist and label clients, and act as primary contact
  • Work in Zendesk to track client contact and measure specific SLAs
  • Organize communication with clients and act as an internal go-between among internal staff
  • Collaborate with Symphonic’s global team to plan and implement form-fitting release marketing strategies
  • Manage the daily logistics of release management, including metadata standards, production, ingestion, and take-downs
  • Plan, manage, and analyze the financial success of client relationships, including budget creation, tracking, and sales/streaming revenue analysis
  • Anticipate problems and implement communication and tactical strategies to solve them
  • Assist in Corporate and Client Marketing meetings to help the business develop and pitch new clients
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Music or a business-related field, or 2 years of relevant experience working in a key client relationship role at a record label, distributor, artist management company, publisher, agency, or DSP
  • Proven success in developing emerging artists or labels
  • Proven deep relationships or roots in the music industry community
