Build and lead the engineering organisation behind the AI platform

Turn product requirements and validated AI concepts into reliable, scalable and maintainable software

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience building and leading engineering teams in a fast-moving product company
Track record of taking products from prototype to production while scaling engineering teams, processes and technical foundations from early-stage through growth
Strong engineering judgement across modern Python-based backend systems, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems and AI-enabled products
Experience building and operating LLM or agentic systems in production, including evaluation, guardrails and failure handling
Use of modern AI coding tools as a core part of the engineering workflow
Ability to effectively review and quality-control AI-generated code
Evidence of making fast, high-quality decisions under ambiguity, including deciding what not to build
Excellent written and spoken English
Experience in healthcare, clinical workflows, FHIR, regulated or safety-critical software, or enterprise software deployments is advantageous but not required
German is a plus, but not required
