About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze business processes and related requirements
- Support application implementations and training
- Coordinate and/or manage projects
- Apply Agile development practices, including continuous integration/continuous delivery, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Facilitate working meetings and elicit information from stakeholders
- Facilitate shared understanding of problems, possible solutions, and project scope
- Facilitate solutions to technical challenges across business and technical teams
- Review business procedures and clarify or change business processes
- Use operational knowledge to document business processes and procedures
- Test business functions within computer systems
- Present technical and non-technical information to stakeholder groups
- Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while serving clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Three years of experience in business process analysis, application implementations and training, project coordination/management and business-related experience
- Knowledge of Agile development practices, including continuous integration/continuous delivery, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- Knowledge of business analyst processes such as those outlined in the International Institute of Business Analysis BABOK guide
- Knowledge of project coordination/management methodology, standards, and best practices
- Knowledge of procedures and methods for testing business functions within computer systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and development concepts
- Basic understanding of COBOL coding language and/or AI tools in the IBM i server environment
- SQL Server and/or DB2 database experience
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to facilitate working meetings, elicit and solicit information, and absorb communicated information
- Ability to facilitate shared understanding of problems, solutions, and project scope
- Ability to facilitate solutions to technical challenges among multiple teams and stakeholders
- Critical thinking skills to assess requests and review business procedures
- Ability to document business processes and procedures
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to present technical and non-technical information to all stakeholder groups
- Ability to multitask while remaining focused on client service
