About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze internal and external customers' needs and identify problems and enhancements
  • Analyze financial and pricing information in Excel models and online pricing systems and databases
  • Test updates to Pricing Tool assumptions and algorithms and identify required changes
  • Correct errors in assigned Pricing tools and formulate changes to adapt or enhance existing models
  • Facilitate customized solutions for strategic customers or unique operational models
  • Collaborate with IT and third-party system developers and technical specialists to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Prepare and update user instructions and training materials
  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to update rate cards, foreign exchange rates, pass-through costs, inflation profiles, and other core data
  • Communicate departmental processes and ensure training availability and compliance with corporate policies and local regulations
  • Support work streams for the ongoing support, improvement, and utilization of the Company's Pricing Systems
  • Track and manage assigned workload, timelines, action items, and related activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry, or comparable experience in a related field of study
  • BA/BS or equivalent in a business or health-related degree, or equivalent education and experience
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email, and voicemail
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Above-average attention to detail
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and strong team-oriented skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Good analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously
  • Experience in financial, pricing, and/or business analysis
  • National or international travel may be required 2–3 times per year
