About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and deliver financial reporting, controls, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting for group deadlines
  • Prepare, interpret, and analyze financial data, business metrics, and ad-hoc reports for global management
  • Prepare annual cost and expense budgets, cost rates, cost and expense forecasts, monthly utilization, headcount, revenue backlog analysis, and/or gross profit reports for the assigned area
  • Produce ad-hoc reports as required
  • Develop and produce monthly financial reports and commentary and other financial analysis and metrics for senior management
  • Recommend methods to improve results by reviewing reporting timeliness, accuracy, and efficiencies
  • Serve as a key contact for interpretation and investigation of financial results in the assigned area
  • Provide financial insights into business growth trends and profitability in the assigned area
  • Assist management and Finance department personnel with miscellaneous projects as directed by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience
  • 0-2 years of work experience
  • Pharmaceutical or CRO experience
  • Ability to utilize protocol and subject data to build subject visit forecasts across multiple cohorts/arms and subject statuses
  • Experience reviewing Medidata CTMS data and determining additional forecast calculations
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies in data, including visit-rate changes and currency errors
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency with accounting software packages
  • Experience with Oracle Finance preferred
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive data
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Excellent financial, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of personal motivation
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Equivalent experience, skills, and/or education will also be considered
