About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze existing automations, evaluating their functionality, performance, and opportunities for improvement
- Analyze and understand processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation
- Support the development and maintenance of automations using Python and Shell Script
- Perform maintenance, support, and troubleshooting for Linux operating systems
- Develop, analyze, and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, processing, and analysis
- Support the organization, updating, and management of Excel tracking spreadsheets
- Conduct data analyses to identify inconsistencies, opportunities, and process improvements
- Support the documentation of processes, automations, and solutions developed
- Collaborate with different departments and technical teams to monitor and resolve requests
- Continuously pursue technical improvement through training, courses, and staying up to date with new technologies and tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Professional experience as a Data Analyst, Automation Analyst, or in a similar role
- Knowledge of SQL, including query creation and analysis
- Knowledge of Python and/or Shell Script
- Experience with Linux environments
- Knowledge of Excel for data tracking, analysis, and organization
- Analytical and logical reasoning skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Proactive, organized, and problem-solving-oriented mindset
- Experience developing and supporting automations
- Knowledge of automation and data integration tools
- Knowledge of databases
- Experience analyzing and optimizing processes
- Knowledge of data visualization/BI tools
- Interest in and availability for continuous learning
