About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define end-to-end data architecture, including integration, storage, processing, and consumption.
- Establish standards for conceptual, logical, and relational/dimensional modeling, data quality, metadata, lineage, and lifecycle management.
- Design, optimize, and implement solutions for data ingestion, transformation (ETL/ELT), sharing, and exposure through APIs, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Hubs.
- Guide platform and Modern Data Stack tool decisions, including the Snowflake environment and reusable components.
- Ensure requirements for security, privacy (LGPD), retention, segregation, and governance of the environment.
- Gather business requirements and support and develop use cases for analytics, BI, interactive dashboards, and operational intelligence.
- Map risks, dependencies, costs, capacity, and ongoing support requirements for the data platform.
- Promote documentation, technical training, monitoring of market trends, and the evolution of the data ecosystem.
- Prioritize, document, and communicate results and deliverables transparently.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and deviations, with action plans and timely escalation.
- Maintain processes, decisions, models, and supporting evidence in an auditable, efficient, and easily accessible manner.
- Continuously support and optimize the company’s reports, dashboards, and data infrastructure.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in scalable data architecture, engineering, development, and modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI or similar).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, storage architecture (Data Lake/Lakehouse/Warehouse), ETL/ELT pipelines, and API-based integration.
- Knowledge of data governance, quality, security, and privacy.
- Practical knowledge of Python, the Modern Data Stack ecosystem, and Snowflake Data Lake.
- Ability to act as a liaison between technology and business, translating organizational requirements into technical solutions.
- Official data or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake) are a plus.
- Experience with operational data in logistics, inventory, assets, or mobility is a plus.
