About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and continuously improve the strategy for functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and exploratory testing, ensuring adequate coverage and risk mitigation
Act as the quality champion, influencing technical decisions alongside development and business teams
Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks in Java and Robot Framework, promoting reuse, scalability, and best practices
Implement and maintain the BDD approach using Gherkin, ensuring traceability between requirements and tests
Work strategically with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab, promoting continuous automation and quality integrated into the DevOps workflow
Analyze logs, metrics, and quality indicators, proposing preventive and corrective actions
Work with Jira and Xray, ensuring governance and traceability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with test automation in Java and Robot Framework
Experience with BDD and Gherkin syntax
Experience with integration testing (REST and SOAP)
Practical knowledge of SQL Server and MongoDB
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab)
Experience with test management tools (Jira and Xray)
Experience with quality metrics and log analysis
Ability to structure and continuously improve quality processes
Advanced English proficiency
Experience in cloud environments, preferably IBM Cloud (a plus)
Experience in the insurance industry (a plus)
Quality-related certifications (CTFL, CTAL, or Agile Tester) (a plus)
Spanish proficiency (a plus)
