About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical leadership to the team, promoting best practices in development, data modeling, and BI architecture
Serve as the technical reference for building and evolving analytical solutions, ensuring the quality, performance, and standardization of deliverables
Lead requirements-gathering meetings with business teams and stakeholders, translating needs into data solutions and business metrics
Map processes, identify opportunities, and translate business demands into functional and technical specifications
Manage requests, prioritize activities, and track the team’s schedules and deliverables
Assign tasks and support analysts’ development through mentoring and technical guidance
Monitor deliverable quality, ensuring alignment with business requirements and expectations
Develop and enhance data models, dashboards, and reports in Power BI
Create metrics, KPIs, and visualizations focused on performance, usability, and business value generation
Drive continuous improvement of BI and Analytics processes, tools, and practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
Knowledge of Workspace administration, Gateway, Row-Level Security (RLS), scheduled refreshes, and governance of Power BI environments
Experience developing ETL processes using Power Query (M language)
Proficiency in DAX for creating metrics, KPIs, and analytical modeling
Strong knowledge of data modeling and BI architecture
Experience with Data Warehousing (DW), ETL/ELT, and dimensional modeling
Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle
Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL queries, Views, and Stored Procedures
Ability to build business-oriented dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions
A plus: experience with Databricks
A plus: knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
A plus: experience working in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
A plus: familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
