About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and evolve the strategy for functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and exploratory testing
Ensure adequate test coverage and risk mitigation
Influence technical decisions in collaboration with development and business teams
Design, develop, and maintain Web and API frameworks using Java and Robot Framework
Promote reuse, scalability, and best practices
Support the BDD approach with Gherkin, ensuring traceability between requirements and tests
Integrate quality into the DevOps workflow through Jenkins and GitLab pipelines
Analyze logs and quality metrics, proposing preventive and corrective actions
Work with Jira and Xray, ensuring control and traceability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience in test automation using Java and Robot Framework
Strong experience with BDD and Gherkin syntax
Proven experience with integration testing (REST and SOAP)
Practical knowledge of SQL Server, MongoDB, and Python
Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab)
Experience with test management (Jira and Xray)
Experience with quality metrics and log analysis
Ability to structure and continuously improve quality processes
Basic knowledge of leading generative AI tools and LLMs available on the market, such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, and Claude, including their practical application to testing
Experience in cloud environments, preferably IBM Cloud
Experience in the insurance industry
Quality certifications (CTFL, CTAL, and Agile Tester)
Basic to intermediate English and/or Spanish proficiency for meetings and documentation
