About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
Conduct feasibility studies and provide recommendations for analytics solutions
Design scalable and maintainable analytics solutions
Develop technical specifications and data models
Extract data from source systems including DJMS and IPPS-A
Load data into the Databricks warehouse and clean it for analysis
Build custom datasets for dashboard use
Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
Deploy solutions to production environments and ensure successful implementation
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve issues
Implement enhancements and updates
Create and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, specifications, architecture diagrams, design documents, and deployment plans
Provide user guides and training materials for end-users

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
3-10 years of relevant work experience
3+ years of experience in Power Platform development (Apps, Automate, BI)
3+ years of experience with SQL
3+ years of experience with Python
Experience with Databricks (Data Intelligence Platforms)
Experience with Army Vantage
Experience with data cleansing, data prep, and data translation
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle delegated tasks and development
Active Secret security clearance
Experience supporting DoD stakeholders and leadership is desired
