About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create “blue” UAS training plans for security forces
- Lead quarterly “blue” UAS training classes on a rotating basis at multiple Navy locations
- Lead creation of a UAS Program Plan defining UAS operations, considerations, and requirements
- Coordinate with DoW and DON UAS stakeholders to create “blue” UAS requirements
- Coordinate with security forces to draft CONOPS for the use of “blue UAS”
- Create the “blue” UAS certification process and certify operators against DoW, DON, and SSP requirements before real-world operations
- Support and coordinate “red” UAS used in C-UAS training
- Augment C-UAS T&E efforts
- Participate in drills and training scenarios
- Coordinate with and participate in U.S. Intelligence Community assessments defining current UAS threat capabilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active TOP SECRET clearance
- Six or more years of related work experience, including professional experience at a Navy Strategic Weapons Facility
- BA/BS degree or higher (additional years of relevant experience may be substituted)
- Detailed knowledge of UAS and CUAS systems
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Able to effectively manage time and collaborate across a diverse set of group/division priorities
- Knowledge of developing briefs and reports for project leadership team review
