About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a territory business plan to drive sales, asset growth, and market share
- Build and strengthen relationships with financial advisors, broker-dealers, and key decision-makers
- Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships
- Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering investment insights, business solutions, and market expertise
- Partner across investment, product, marketing, and relationship management teams to deliver customized client solutions
- Lead client presentations, business reviews, and sales discussions with advisors and firm leaders
- Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and provide strategic guidance
- Share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of sales strategies, tools, and client engagement approaches
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, risk management, and firm policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ten plus years of relevant work experience
- Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses
- Strong consultative selling, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Established relationships with wirehouse, independent and regional broker-dealer advisors
- Proven track record of growing advisor relationships and achieving or exceeding sales goals
- At least five years of experience wholesaling to financial advisors in the posted territory (preferred)
- Professional designation or advanced degree such as CFA, CFP®, CIMA®, or MBA (preferred)
- Experience representing a broad range of investment products and portfolio solutions (preferred)
- Must be based in the geographical territory in which he/she resides and have an established network in the region
