Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build a suite of next-generation, cloud-native applications supporting the Investment Division
  • Solve complex business and technical challenges in a hands-on, full-stack engineering role
  • Contribute across the full product lifecycle, from design and development through deployment and enhancement
  • Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional technology and business partners
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, traders, and senior stakeholders
  • Apply agile development, continuous delivery, code review, testing, and refactoring practices
  • Deliver practical, high-value client-focused solutions iteratively
  • Contribute to engineering excellence, quality, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Share knowledge and support an inclusive, collaborative team environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A strong academic record and a BS or MS degree in a field with meaningful mathematical and computing content, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • Experience with modern frameworks and development tools such as Pandas, React, Node.js, and Spring Boot
  • Experience with modern cloud technologies, including containerization and serverless architectures
  • Experience with testing practices and tools such as TDD, BDD, Cucumber, and Cypress
  • Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redshift
  • Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States
  • Preferred: Experience with web-based development and visualization technologies
  • Preferred: Knowledge of statistics, time-series analysis, asset pricing theory, or optimization algorithms
  • Preferred: Familiarity with algorithms and data structures
  • Preferred: Understanding of Multi-Asset investment strategies, financial instruments, derivatives, and capital markets
  • Preferred: Experience partnering with Portfolio Managers, Quants, and Traders
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications, intelligent workflows, or agentic systems using modern LLMs and AI development frameworks
  • Preferred: Practical experience with agent orchestration, tool/function calling, retrieval-based systems, prompt and context engineering, structured outputs, evaluation, observability, or guardrails
  • Preferred: Experience taking AI-enabled systems toward production, including testing, monitoring, reliability, security, and operational considerations
  • FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role
