Key responsibilities & impact

Develop an accounts payable automation system over six months for a commercial client
Integrate Oracle NetSuite with Anthropic’s Claude
Make extraction work on real invoices, including scans, duplicates, mobile-phone photographs, and invoices missing key fields
Define system behavior for uncertain cases, including when processing continues, stops, and what humans observe when it stops
Validate accuracy against historical client invoices in a controller-acceptable and auditor-traceable manner
Run a 30-day live pilot in parallel with manual processing
Adjust the system based on real-world pilot results
Transfer knowledge and deliver the solution so the client can maintain it without an internal AI team
Support and improve a production-deployed LLM solution
Integrate Python and REST APIs with externally built systems
Participate in reference and credential verification and complete a practical screening exercise using complex documents

Requirements

What you’ll need

Production experience with an actually deployed LLM that was subsequently supported; not merely a proof of concept or demo
Experience integrating Python with REST APIs and systems not built by you
Experience extracting documents at production quality, including invoices, forms, claims, and contracts, from semi-structured and imperfect documents
A method for checking whether output is correct, including a criterion for determining when an improvement is genuine
Necessary legal permission to work in the United States in an independent contractor capacity
Ability to travel at short notice, regardless of residence
Mandatory attendance during the kickoff week
Availability for another 3 to 5 travel days during the engagement, grouped around the pilot and go-live
Ability to provide a built-work sample, resume/profile, and two references from completed work
Ability to provide total hourly compensation and whether contracting as a 1099 or through own entity
Ability to provide base location and proof of presence in Houston for the specified dates
Availability over the following six months
Willingness to work certain evenings and/or Saturdays, as indicated in the application form
Willingness to provide three professional references, as indicated in the application form
