About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and deploy backend applications and APIs using TypeScript
Utilize AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) to define and manage cloud infrastructure as code
Work extensively with NoSQL databases, particularly Amazon DynamoDB, for data storage and retrieval
Develop and deploy serverless functions using AWS Lambda
Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to define and implement application requirements
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in system design or architecture, including knowledge of design patterns, reliability, and scalability
Proficiency in TypeScript
Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
Strong knowledge of Amazon DynamoDB
Experience developing and deploying AWS Lambda functions
Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
AWS Associate-level certification or higher, preferred
