About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Build and maintain financial models connecting revenue, expenses, transaction volume, customers, rewards, unit economics, and other business metrics
Produce monthly financial reporting and variance analysis, explaining what changed and why
Support strategic planning, fundraising, capital planning, and other major company initiatives
Build scenario models to evaluate new products, partnerships, hiring plans, and other business decisions
Work closely with accounting to ensure actual financial results are accurately reflected in models and forecasts
Support ad hoc analysis and data-driven decision making across the organization
Report to the CEO and work closely with leadership and teams across the company

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in finance
5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or a similar analytical role
Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
Strong understanding of financial statements and how operational activity flows through to financial results
Experience owning budgeting and forecasting processes
Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders
Experience with BI and data viz tools like Power BI or Metabase
Fintech, banking, payments, lending, or financial services experience is preferred
Demonstrated hands-on use of AI tools to do real work
Has worked with startups
