About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyse and implement user stories and technical requirements
- Develop and maintain backend solutions using Apache Spark and Scala
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from development through testing and production validation
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests
- Collaborate with Agile squad members to deliver solutions within agreed timelines
- Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support production validation and deployment activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of professional experience developing with Apache Spark and Scala
- Solid experience with PL/SQL
- Experience working with Control-M
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Good understanding of software development best practices, testing and production support
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
