About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the quality of critical systems by conducting rigorous testing
- Ensure high system availability and performance
- Identify and resolve issues
- Implement technological improvements and innovations
- Collaborate with development teams and other departments to ensure compliance with business requirements and contracted service levels
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
- Create and maintain test cases
- Log and track defects
- Support the definition of acceptance criteria with the product team
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Perform testing in web, mobile, and API environments
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
- Experience with or knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Knowledge of REST API testing using Postman, Swagger, or Insomnia
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Knowledge of version control with Git and use of GitHub/GitLab
- Knowledge of test management tools such as Azure DevOps
- Basic understanding of CI/CD and test integration into pipelines
- Knowledge of web and mobile application testing
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or Java
- Knowledge of QA best practices and acceptance criteria
- Analytical skills to identify failures and inconsistencies
- Organization and time-management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Clear and objective communication with technical and business teams
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary environments
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Adaptability to new tools and processes
- Ability to create technical documentation and generate evidence
- Critical thinking to propose improvements to QA processes
- Autonomy to responsibly conduct testing activities
