Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and implement a multi-year engineering strategy aligned with company objectives and product roadmaps
Lead and develop engineering teams and managers
Oversee budget planning, workforce planning, and resource allocation
Manage engineering KPIs, software quality, delivery performance, and productivity
Advance software architectures, automation, and technical standards
Promote modern technologies and methodologies such as cloud-native, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and AI
Work closely with Product Management, Security, Cloud Operations, and Executive Management
Own strategic engineering initiatives and critical escalations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Several years of software development experience, preferably with Java, including several years in a senior leadership role
Experience leading internationally distributed teams
Strong knowledge of enterprise SaaS, cloud technologies, distributed systems, and software architecture
Experience with budget ownership, resource planning, and organizational development
Excellent knowledge of modern development processes such as Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD
Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive, solution-oriented leadership style
Experience in a B2B SaaS environment
Interest in AI/ML, generative AI, and AI-assisted software development
Excellent English language skills
