About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain a clear roadmap for GenAI products and align it with strategy, engineering, sales, and other stakeholders
Work closely with the Head of Development and engineering teams to align on technical feasibility, architectural decisions, and priorities
Translate business requirements into technical epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Build and maintain a structured, prioritized backlog
Plan sprints with development teams and support refinement sessions and reviews
Ensure timely, high-quality releases
Evaluate new GenAI features, frameworks, and integrations, and derive product and architectural decisions
Establish data-driven product decisions, define KPIs, and implement experiments such as A/B tests
Integrate solutions end to end into customers’ system landscapes, for example via APIs and events, with a focus on performance, security, and scalability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in a technology-related field, such as business informatics, computer science, industrial engineering, or a STEM discipline, or an equivalent qualification
Several years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or in a comparable role in a tech or startup environment
Practical experience with generative AI, such as working with LLMs, prompt design, and integrating AI APIs
Good knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python or Java
Excellent knowledge of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Understanding of modern software architectures, including cloud, microservices, APIs, and data pipelines
Excellent written and spoken German and English
Experience with SaaS products in a B2C or B2B2C context is a plus
Experience building experimentation frameworks, such as A/B testing, in collaboration with data and engineering teams is a plus
