About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Operational Superintendent
- Provide safe, coordinated, and supportive leadership to all teams
- Achieve and exceed production targets
- Work closely with support teams across multiple crushing and processing plants
- Maintain a strong safety focus
- Plan and direct production activities for processing plant shift supervisors in line with production priorities
- Liaise with the Maintenance Department regarding plant shutdown and maintenance requirements
- Plan and coordinate plant shutdowns and start-ups
- Coordinate equipment isolation required for maintenance and shutdowns
- Coordinate crushing activities to maintain required ore feed to processing plants
- Ensure operating standards and procedures are adhered to
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace
- Experience in a similar role or industry related experience
- Analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Current Section 26 (S26) qualification under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA), or ability to obtain prior to commencement
- Cert IV in Frontline Management is desirable
