About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and manage corporate networks for customers
Operate, maintain, and continuously develop complex network environments
Plan, design, and operate modern firewall, LAN, and WLAN infrastructures
Analyze incidents, resolve issues independently, and manage network-related changes
Develop automation solutions to increase operational efficiency
Support internal sales teams with technical expertise throughout the pre-sales process

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher education in computer science or equivalent professional experience
Certifications or training in Cisco and Fortinet are required; knowledge of additional vendors is a plus, as is a willingness to obtain further certifications
In-depth knowledge of perimeter security, routing and switching, VPN, TCP/IP, and WLAN
Experience with an IT service provider and initial software development experience are advantageous
Excellent written and spoken German
Strong written and spoken English communication skills
Independent, quality-conscious working style, combined with team spirit and analytical thinking
Experience in project work
Relevant certification in networking or security, such as CCNP or NSE 8
