About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop project schedules and timelines
- Track, analyze, and report on project schedule information, including current status and forecasted changes to the schedule baseline
- Ensure accuracy of project schedules to track deadlines and finish on time
- Coordinate project schedules, tasks, deliverables, updates, and distribute project data and reports effectively
- Assist project team members with developing and updating project schedules
- Support planning and scheduling across all project phases, including initiation, planning, design, right-of-way acquisition, construction, and closeout
- Identify schedule delays, impacts, and deviations from the baseline, and communicate updates and plans to the Project Manager and project team
- Provide reports on schedule progress in team meetings
- Analyze schedule impacts and recommend timely resolutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management or related field; or equivalent combination of experience, skills, and training
- PE licensed preferred
- 10+ years of scheduling experience, preferably on water/wastewater and heavy civil projects
- Primavera P6
- CPM Scheduling
- Baseline/monthly schedule reviews
- Critical path analysis
- Recovery schedules
- Time-impact/delay analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software like Procore
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Must be proactive and personable with a strong ability to learn quickly
- Public agency/water district experience preferred
