About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of partner managers
  • Own aggregate partner revenue, forecasting, operating cadence, and forecast accuracy
  • Design partner coverage so every partner has a named owner and plan
  • Run structured quarterly business reviews with active strategic partners
  • Bring mutual client counts, adoption, revenue trajectory, and commitments to partner reviews
  • Convert QBRs into documented plans with owners and deadlines
  • Identify at-risk partnerships and drive interventions before renewal issues arise
  • Build and execute growth plans for existing partners
  • Increase adoption and penetration through joint campaigns, co-selling, and in-product placement
  • Diagnose underperformance across enablement, incentives, integrations, and attention
  • Partner with leadership on tiering, incentives, and commercial terms
  • Identify, prioritize, source, negotiate, and launch new payroll, HRIS, HCM, WFM, and ERP platform partnerships
  • Represent Tapcheck at industry and partner events and leverage professional networks
  • Build and deliver partner-facing training, certification, and sales assets with Enablement
  • Establish partner support models, escalation paths, response expectations, and mutual-client ownership
  • Measure enablement through changes in partner behavior
  • Collaborate with Sales on partner-sourced opportunities
  • Align with Marketing on co-marketing, campaigns, and partner-sourced demand generation
  • Communicate partner and integration requirements to Product
  • Partner with RevOps on attribution, reporting, and pipeline instrumentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years managing and developing a partnerships, channel, or business development team
  • Experience owning and consistently delivering against a team revenue number in a partner or channel motion
  • Experience building and running partner business review cadences with documented plans and measurable outcomes
  • Experience growing revenue inside an existing partner base
  • Experience sourcing, negotiating, and launching new platform partnerships from first conversation through go-live
  • Fluency in transaction-based and SaaS revenue models and partner economics
  • Experience in the payroll, HRIS, HCM, WFM, or ERP ecosystem with a demonstrated track record of success
  • Established network of relationships across payroll, HRIS, HCM, WFM, or ERP ecosystems
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, Enablement, and Product
  • Experience operating with a high degree of ownership in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment
  • Comfort with ambiguity, high emotional intelligence, and self-awareness
  • Preferred: experience in Fintech, HRTech, Payroll, Benefits, or a PE-backed SaaS environment
  • Preferred: experience building or redesigning partner programs, including tiering, commercial frameworks, certification, or enablement structures
  • Preferred: experience with earned wage access, on-demand pay, or embedded financial products
  • Preferred: experience with major ecosystem players such as ADP, Oracle, UKG, Workday, or SAP
  • Preferred: experience using Salesforce and partner management tooling for forecasting, attribution, and partner reporting
  • Preferred: willingness to travel up to 25–30%
  • Must already have the right to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship
