About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee multiple concurrent construction projects, including sports facility construction with civil and post-tension concrete construction, valued at $5M+.
- Lead project buyout and subcontractor contract management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and resolutions.
- Supervise and mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
- Refine and optimize internal project management tools, templates, and procedures.
- Analyze historical project data and KPIs to identify trends, improve forecasting, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure consistent use of Procore to maintain project documentation and reporting integrity.
- Travel to and between job sites as needed for development of plans, relationships, and overall project design needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of construction (civil and post-tension concrete construction) project management experience, with proven leadership on projects exceeding $5 million in value.
- Experience in Sports facility construction is a plus.
- Strong team leadership skills with experience managing direct reports.
- Expertise in planning, coordinating, and executing construction tasks in line with project specifications, timelines, and budgets; skilled at troubleshooting issues through a team-focused approach.
- Proficiency with Procore is required.
- ASBA or PTI certification is preferred.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions on-site, such as weather delays, material shortages, or changes in project scope.
